I cant believe that...i wonder how many times they got away with the "on the way to get insurance" trick. I have uninsured motorist coverage as well and it sure comes in handy

nice! post pics when you do! i haven't installed mine yet, too much going on right now, but i should be able to soon, and i will update this thread as well as my "build" thread with pics when it's installed!

ive heard to let it sit in the sun for a couple hours before and it heats it up and makes it easier to install around the curves and stuff.

new water pump, thermostat and hoses after flushing my cooling system. Took 50 GALLONS! of mix and flush to the hazardous waste station. They took pity on me any only charged me .75 a gallon instead of $1 a lb so $35 instead of $400

My 2006 F250 supercab was a former fleet vehicle with this exact flooring. Initially i was going to take it out and put carpet in it, but it cleaned up so nicely and easily, i thought what the heck, i can spray out the mud with a hose and wipe it down with vinyl preservative and it looks new. So yea, I think the Vinyl floor is probably a better choice to go with anyway.

Went from 17x9 Ultra Wheel Mavericks wrapped with
315 70 R17 Cooper ST Maxx Over to a 2018 F250 Platinum Edition 20 x ? Wrapped with 275 65 R20 Michelin LTX AT2s.

Results: Smoother, Quieter, better power transfer, better mpg, easier steering, tows better...

Didn't expect all these results from a set of tires and wheels. Hell of a lot better.

Guess I'm getting old...

Anyone in Houston want some 17s? LOL

I put a crack in my front grill.. upper left corner..

I hit the birds tail feathers of an Ohio buzzard... at 30 mph...
as tail feathers were stuck in the grill's new crack..

how do a person rear-end a buzzard. he did not deviate from straight ahead flight.
after the hit... it banked left and headed for a tree.

Took the 5th wheel hitch out of my truck bed today. Signals the end of camping season for us this year. In another month (depending on weather) it'll be time to put the pallet of sand bags in the bed (1200 lbs) for winter.

Front end hitch cargo carrier toolbox combo

Been working on my project for some time now. Next year I'm getting a truck camper slide in type and had seen several different setups that guys had with toolboxes attached to a front frame hitch because they had campers in the back. The first thing EVERYONE is concerned about is airflow, but everyone that has done it so far has had no issues with it, and if you look closely at my setup you will notice that it's low enough to allow airflow through the radiator anyway. Front view with safety poles off of snow plow blade. used a harbor freight cargo carrier as a base. Had to cut some of the top railing on so I could fasten my Craig's list $80 truck box to it. had to make cuts at blue lines so base could be fastened to tool box
Had to buy the frame mount hitch receiver from Amazon, that cost $105. That required removal of front end bumper assembly, some hole locating and drilling and blind bolt fastening. took me a few hours, but I'm fat and slow... also had a friend weld on another receiver to lower it 6". here you can visualize the attachment and the extra receiver mount that was lowered
another close up view of front end. two padlocks on latch hasps and safety cable with combo brass lock ties to frame with receiver pin lock as well for security 4 locks in all. can't open top with steel cable locked up, if you could manage it, then you'd have to also cut the other two master locks which now are actually brass industrial not pictured here. And if you thought you could simply remove the whole assembly there is the matter of the receiver pin lock.
