Got the truck aligned today after the Carli 2.5 install. Castor was still in spec so the correction bushings aren't needed.

Wow, it drives like a whole new truck!

Got my step bars installed today. My 5' 3" wife is super happy. They are the factory bars off another 2016 and look brand new. Craigslist special at 100 bucks. I believe I found the factory plug for courtesy lights while I was under there, and the steps have a big recessed area on the bottom. I think I see LED strips as huge puddle lights in the near future.

So What did I do to my super duty today...Well I backed my 96 aerostar into it because I forgot it was back there...I remembered at the last millisecond hit the brakes but not quick enough...I was moving pretty fast....BUT.. not a mark on the truck lol. Hit the winch in front. The van well lets say its not worth as much as the damage...probably if I brought it somewhere the bill would be $2500.00...Under the right rear light got mashed in about 5 inches. corner of the fiberglass rear hatch is gone...Anyway I guess i'm gonna fix it.. I have a junk van to take the quarter off of. Mines gonna be a frankin van..oh well..Sheet happens..

Upper and lower Moog ball joints on the driver's side and flipped the tires around to expose the white letters. The wheel is straight now! Also rotated the tires to keep them spinning the same direction. (Don't know if that is necessary as I've read arguments both ways for years.) Now for an alignment and tint.

I just needed an upper but figured I'd do both while it was apart. Discovered that the lower had a Moog in it already. Why they didn't do both is beyond me. I replaced both anyway and so far so good. I bought mine from Rockauto for $75 shipped. My local parts store wanted $150!

dave7200 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
It looks great, and its so nice to see someone else with a regular cab. I ordered mine and I get so many comments on how people say they forgot how nice the regular cabs look. The four door truck is the station wagon of the erra!!

If I were to redo my front end again it would be the Spicer kit which comes with everything.

Steps look nice, I went with the LED strip lights but put them on the bottom of the cab so they would light the ground and the step.

The build page has the details of where they are mounted and the plug I connected to, also the plug I ordered to connect up to the trucks harness.

Thanks AZLugz, I had actually already started following your thread and gotten that number for the plug. I also like your valve stem caps. Good looking ride you have for sure.
