Better brakes, more power, solid front axle if 4x4, bigger interiors and a stronger chassi, electric fuel pump vs mechanical, theres more just can remember all. Just remember there were no real 7.3 f250 in 98 there was a 98 f250 with the heritage body style with a 5.4 2v and the weird 7 lug wheels.

Sd may have some advantages however obs never came with pmr's . If you plan to mod much you will want single shot stix that sd do not come with and more oil than a 17* can keep up with.
IMO (I have owned 2) they are ok but when it comes to modding it's not a huge step up.
And obs is dead sexy!

I've owned both. The OBS is in my opinion the last of the great looking Ford trucks. The Super Duty's are OK, but they were the start of the new trend for looks. The 08's are worse for appearance, and the newer they get, the worse in my opinion.
Anyhow, the Super Duty's have nicer creature comforts, a little quieter, etc. Basically the same transmission if getting an automatic. The SD's have 6-speed manuals versus 5-speeds in the OBS if you're looking for a manual tranny truck. Keep in mind, you're looking at trucks that are anywhere between 13 years old (2003) to 22 years old (1994.5). There are a few differences in the 94.5's and the 95's when compared to the 96's and 97's if I remember correctly. And the early 99's are a little different from the later 99 and up trucks. If you find any of them in half way decent shape, I wouldn't be afraid to buy any of them. All of them are good, solid, dependable trucks.
