Fog Light Wiring Question

Fog Light Wiring Question
I am installing a single fog light on my 55 F-100 and am having a brain dump! Should the in-line fuse run between the fog light and switch or between the battery and switch or does it matter? I am still running 6 volt positive ground.
I feel a bit silly not knowing for sure but would appreciate the help. The fog light is an original Ford sealed beam so I'm thinking a 20 or 30 amp fuse should be good.

- preferably you always want the fuse as close to the battery as possible so you can protect as much of the circuit as you can from shorts so definatly between the battery and the switch also if I was running something high amperage like that id prefer to use a relay to power the lights and the switch to power the relay but that's up to you

A single foglight shouldn't draw more than 10 amps (depending on the wattage), and you want the wire gauge to be larger than the fuse rating. So I would recommend AWG 14 wire with a 10 amp fuse. A relay is recommended but not really necessary with just one lamp, assuming you have a good switch.
