1979 F600 power steering ram assist seals

Anyone know the seal kit part number or seal numbers?

There is no Ford part number, the seals were only supplied with the cylinder (see + in pic).

Thanks ND, looks like another hunt for parts begins. That 3A540 cylinder number comes back as a mustang,, ARGHHHH

ND is a 2wd same era ram same part number? I may scrounge one at the JY to take apart and look at seal numbers.

The cylinder is 1971/79 F600 4WD only.

power steer ram

I had a 78 GMC Brigadere ( yes I know) with an almost identical ram & sent for a rebuilt exchange to Chicago power steering co. 312-842-3083 it worked fine with no leaks.

If you go by Ford part numbers you get a obsolete which is B/S go to either Cat or
New Holland who does cylinders or a hydraulic shop in your area. Far as I know Ford
did not make those they were vender bought. When I did mine a 1954 F900 the local
shop had a big fat book with every kind of piston and seal dimension on the planet. sam

P/S Cylinder is D1TZ-3A540-A .. The repair kit and ball stud dust cover are listed above. This is not the spindle connecting rod seal, that number is C7TZ-3332-G
