Opening power Through Exhaust and Tune?

So, I need to open up some power from the 6.8L

My thought was to get in touch with Mike at 5 star, I called a few times, but he is likely busy!
But, 5 start tune and y pipe kit
Exhaust. Headers, Shorty.

What about exhaust? Anyone out there deal with this? Deal with the options for stock exhaust to MBRP, Gibson, etc etc

I don't want loud, what are gains?
Should I leave it stock and call it good........

Post up what you have seen and what you know about it.
I have seen a few opinions in here is a search but not really what I'm looking for.

Also, F250 exhaust vs Excursion exhaust? Will it fit.......

Y-pipe, 5 Star tunes and gears. The rest will be throwing $$$ in the wind. If you go headers, long tube Thorleys or Banks. CAI worthless. Then drive it like ya stole it. Caution, it may pull harder to the left or right when passing a gas station. Skinny pedal mashing will cause BSEG syndrome and mpg suffrage is a direct side effect!!!

I am a bit confused on how anyone can get much more power out of a V10. (Without new injectors.)

19 lb injectors and a 120 lph pump will only support about 320 flywheel hp. Maybe my Calculations are wrong but I think they are close.

Maybe moving hp/torque to lower rpm range and tweeking transmission settings may make truck perform different but not sure any major hp increases are available with just exhaust. Reguardless of tunes, unless oem injectors are working around 100% duty cycle. But my memory says I read once that ford rates their injectors at 100% already.....so 19 lb ers are even less at 80% duty cycle which is where they should be run.

If motor is sluggish it is either not running to spec or transmission is making motor feel sluggish.

Anyone please correct me if I have erred, as this is just what I read and calculated for my supercharger install.
