Body change
Has anyone tried to put a 93 Body on a 78 frame. I was wondering about this because of the lift and articulation you can get from this chasis, I know that I will have to fab my own body mounts but are the dimensions the same? Also you can put in a big block with ease.

You won't gain anything but a lot of work trying to swap the newer body to the old frame, potential lift and articulation are identical. Just do an SAS if you want to get rid of the TTB. If you really want the old frame, you'd be better off buying a whole truck. A 460 will fit either chassis, but check your local emission laws to make sure you don't end tearing it out again.
