P0605 and issues...

First off Hello to everyone, its been a long time since I've had a chance to get on here.

So last Friday evening heading home from work with low fuel light on, decided to pass up getting fuel in exchange for getting home quicker (it was a long day and 8:00 pm already). Anyway, long story short, truck dies and immediately guess fuel. Add 10 gallons, wont start. Finally starts, typical rough running from air, cool lets go!! Make it about 1 mile and it shuts off again, wont start... wait 30 mins or so and it fires, drive another 3 miles and shuts off again. wth!!! This continues until I finally manage to get close enough to the house to tow it home with a recovery strap (pulled by nothing other than another ).

So turns out after running diagnostics that it was an intermittent IPR issue, maybe from heat, IDK. Replace IPR and all good, pressures and duty cycle look good!. Drive for a couple of days and notice a bad hesitation occasionally. Today I put it back on the scanner and I'm getting a P0605 on KOEO test. I know that the KAM error is typical for running a chip, but ROM error???

As soon as it cools off a bit, I am going out to swap the CPS (back to my IH dark gray, has a cheapo light gray one in now from Friday night)

Just was looking for any thoughts anyone might have.

OFF TOPIC!!!

Stay tuned for some eye candy, got some new things going on with the truck coming up.

Here is a taste of the new shoes she got

Neither affect out Trucks (Diesels).

As for the hesitation, perhaps the CPS, perhaps not.

Suggest you monitor PIDs to discover the culprit.

It's common to see a P0605 on a truck with a chip installed.
