Air Horn in WNC.

Anyone know of a place in WNC to get a set of air horns installed? I remember reading about a place in Asheville but can't recall the name of the place and can't find the old post.

I ordered mine from Hornblasters.com and love the set I got. If you're a handy man, the installation wasn't to bad. Comes with step by step instructions also.

I agree. Got mine from Hornblasters as well and did my own install. Just follow their instructions.
If you do it yourself then the money you save can go towards a bigger system.

Which set did you get and is it as loud as you would like it to be? Also did you mount the compressor and tank in your tool box? Use it to inflate tires? Thanks.

This is a hornblaster kit I installed a few months back. I roughly followed theyre install instructions. I used 2 upfitter switches to power the unit, 1 for the solenoid, 1 for the air compressor. I mounted my horns under my aftermarket front bumper. It is very loud!! I use it for the horns and inflating tires on my jeep. I went with the 2.6cfm model with 100% duty cycle.

I have the Admiral 540 horns. I had the Bullet 127H kit, then upgraded the horns and kept the compressor. No difference in performance, but my compressor is often running. Here's how I have mine set up:

I opted to use the optional toggle switch.

Compressor mounted in the bed.

Horns are mounted under the back right seats. These bad boys are insane. I'll see if I can post screen shots of the DB'S it puts out.

Thanks for the Video. That's my summer truck project!

I have a pair of Grover, 24", Fire Truck Air Horns that I am going to plumb in.
