Not yet Nate. This particular mount is a bit odd, so my plan was to get the chassis done, engine done and mounted in the frame, then place the cab and check for fitment issues. My guess is it will need some tunneling.

Both projects are nice. If I had more time I would have loved to do a full engine rebuild and painted the bay. The cab is coming off at some point for a swap. The transmission needs to be refreshed as well. Ah the to do list.

Been waaaay to long since I have done much work to this truck. It is what it is. But a couple of guys just happened to be in town and we were able to crank on this ol girl the last couple of days. I honestly thought we weren’t going to do more BS’ing than work, but man was it fun getting the welder fired up. Gabe, Aaron and the Texan himself spent about 14hrs cranking along. The great traveling Lee even made an appearance. Anyway, these guys are the greatest and to say thanks doesn’t do it justice. Anyway, here’s some pics.

I had a couple of raccoons tear up my ceiling. Still haven’t had time to address that. But here’s a little description of what we got done.

-Rear axle has been fully welded/gusseted
-Frame has been fully welded/gusseted
-air tank mounted and installed
-Dana 60 has been cleaned, new axle seals installed and is ready for paint
-intercooler mock up
-new oil pan install
-oil cooler R&R
-exhaust manifolds removed and prepped for new manifolds

I’m probably missing some stuff, but it was a very productive few days. These guys are simply the best.

I had so much fun wrenching with y'all and glad to finally meet everyone in person. I hope we get to do this again at some point. This is a hell of a project Todd has going and I think it took a pretty good leap forward today. Hopefully we start seeing some assembly before too much longer. It's pretty much ready to become a rolling chassis again. Since everyone is posting pics, I will too.

Dang, I didn't know we would get so much done. Very outstanding progress in my opinion. Needs to be a roller real soon!

Looking good Todd! Glad you're getting some more work done on it. I bet it was nice to get some help, that is a pretty big project.
