So there are used banks turbo kits on eBay, I figured I'd be looking for old factory turbo set ups that someone has pulled and are selling. I'm probably over thinking this way more than I need to

 

There a lot of turbos and turbo kits out there for the 7.3 powerstrokes not much for the 6.9 or 7.3 IDI engines.

 

Somewhat true, but you can find them. The key word(in the case of banks) is Sidewinder; I think that name was only used for Navistar IDI and Chevy 6.2l engines.

 

You're just about as likely to find an aftermarket Banks setup as you are an ATS/factory setup. The Hypermax is a little harder to come by. There are even more rare kits out there as well. They all pop up on there pretty regularly. Just keep your eyes peeled.
