1979 F350 Barn Find

I can't contain myself so I will share with all who can appreciate such a truck. I hope the pictures will show, I have trouble on some sites.

The two wheel drive dully truck was used on a farm mostly to carry harvested vegetables from the field as recently as last season. It has only 29000 miles. I decided it was not used in cold weather when the cab filled with dust after turning on the heater fan.

At this point I discovered a dent on the door, cracked radiator, sun damaged dash pad, loose exhaust and a poorly repaired hood. This could possibly be the only original Michigan cab with no rust at all. Even the frame is mostly rust free!

The truck is equipped exactly the way I would have orderd it. It is a plain custom cab with a 400 engine and a NP435 four speed transmission.

The original owner told me how he prefabricated a cabin here on his farm and hauled it to the upper pininsula of Michigan with this truck. I bought this truck specifically to do something very similar. I am fabricating a barn kit in my shop here in Mi. and plan to use this truck to haul it to Ohio for erection.

The bed was custom made by a local fabricator. It is in fairly good condition but I plan to modify it some for my needs. It is 12 feet long and 6 feet high. With steel tread plate throughout the floor.
