Mine ends on the floor under the metal trim. the trim hides it and protects the ends from coming up.

If you install the window felt look for little curfs that fit at the top back of the window track. those cuts help it transition around that sharp turn of the window.

Ask me how I know about them.

that's not the piece I'm talking about, I think you are referring to the cab weatherstripping that goes under the metal door sill trim.......I'm referring to the top of door rubbers that go on top if the door.......anyone have a pic and know what I'm talking about?

Im wondering this too. Ive never seen them on a 73-79 ever, yet there is a P/N for them. When I try to explain the issue everyone thinks Im talking about door seals. Nope.

I'd love to see a pic of the top of door rubber seals installed.

my 79 came with top of door rubbers, they were to cut down wind noise they ran from over the top and down the rear of door. carpenter sells these rubbers, you might look and see exactly how they fit. I'm going to put a set on my 74.

I know what you are talking about tho I don't think any of my trucks had them. I think they were added after the fact. A TSB maybe?

I am pretty certain they came on 78s and 79s. Which would explain why you don't usually see them on the older models. I have seen places like LMC and broncograveyard specify those years for those seals. They would certainly fit earlier years to 73.

No top seal, but another vid. 1978 F-150 Build Part 14 Updates & Window Channel Kit - YouTube
I did google for 2 hrs, but apparently I looked at all the wrong threads........but thank you for being better at google than me! Also, none of the vids there really show me any of what I want to know, just the pic and it doesn't look like it's installed properly/down both sides like I've seen.

Yes like I said I remember only seeing that door top seal hanging down the curve edges only a few inches. I am going to ck both side of my parts trucks/Bronco's for you.

If still installed I will get pics of BOTH sides.
