Curved light bars in the grille- on the cheap!!
Not wanting to pay $479.95 for a dual light bar set up from Rough Country, and not liking the look of a straight bar in a curved grille, I cooked up the following. Parts and prices to follow..............
order grille brackets direct from Rough Country P/N 70530 (2011-present Superduty 30" single row grille mount) $59.90 shipped.
Buy any light bar you want, but pay close attention to the overall height. It has to fit between the grille cutouts. I searched high and low and came up with two of these at $132.23ea with free shipping. http://www.ebay.com/itm/321798882002?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Cut out grille where needed to fit, loosely assemble brackets to light bars, place light bar where you want it, wiggle brackets to rest where they mount, mark or drill brackets holes, install fasteners, wire up to upfitter switch, and you're done for $324.36.

Let me know if any of the links are not working

I didn't want to cut out the grates in the grill, I currently have 1 light bar which I mounted behind the grates on the radiator housing. I bought a wiring harness that can handle 2 light bars. Going to buy another for the top which will have to mount to the grill. I will do the same, behind the grates - there's just something about hacking up a $2,000.00 grill that rubs me the wrong way. I'll drill a couple holes np, but if the thing dies or I ever want to go back to 'stock' that's not happening if the grates are hacked out.
I bought DJI4X4 Led Light Bar 30" 240W Driving Fog Lights Combo Beam for less than $100.00 off Amazon. The thing is amazingly bright. Turn that puppy on and it's day. The reason I'm buying a 2nd one isn't for light, it's for synergy on the 'look' of the truck. I like that 'crystal' look behind the grates and the 'look' of 1 just bothers me. Most people don't even notice I do though
