Water in passenger side floor.

hows it going guys.

got a little problem.

the other day i went and warmed up the truck. its a 92 f150 2wd. with no a/c.

went back out and turn the heater on to floor. when i notice a little water hit the floor, so i got out and went over there to see where it came from.

i stuck my fingers up in the vent and the tray was filled with water.

like i said before this truck doesnt have a/c so where could this water be coming from.

for about 20mins i had the water hose on the window and cawling and nothing started dripping. so im at a lost.

anyone got any idea where it could be coming from?

Was it clean water? Or anti-freeze? It could be the heater core.

Cowl may not be draining. Unscrew the fasteners holding the plastic inner fender and reach up between the plastic and the fender near the cowl. There are rubber snouts where rainwater drains. Mine were full of crud. Either that or the heater core.

Sounds like your heater core sprung a leak. Not uncommon. Also, not hard to fix.

Here's hoping you never have to tear into it. I have more scars from that one job than I have from 20+ years of wrenching on my Bronco.

There's one on the driver side too. I found it when I changed my fender.
