I have a 93 f150 5.0 short wide with one tank.. its leaks. so are there other tank sizes besides the piteful 18gal? id really like a 25gal, i looked at the 38gal option but cant make it fit without cutting off my exaust.

 

yes.there were some 23 gallon poly tanks.go to car-part.com and see if you can find one.
you'll need to make up your own straps though.-no one makes them anymore.
if you do an advanced search,use my username with tank strap you should find an old thread with info on what i did.

ok.doesn't look like they were offered on f150's.search for f250 f350s then you can select the 23 gal poly option.

this tank im talking about is the midship tank.the one up front.it's not behind the rear axle.so this might not help you.

 

Yeah i need the rear tank behind the axle... thought about putting in a second tank.. but all the wiring and install of lines made me change my mind.

 

yeah.don't blame ya.far easier to stop and fuel up more often.

 

Seems no one makes a in between custom gas tank for these... go figure
