fix door...
I need to lift my drivers side door up just a bit so it will shut right. Do I have to take the whole fender off to get to all of the door bolts? If not...what should I be doing?

Use Snap On, MAC, MATCO, or Cornwell, 9/16, swivel socket on 10"x 3/8" extension. Go infront of door with door fully open. It's tight but you can get front bolt. Rears can be gotten w/ a good, pro-line long combo wrench like snap on or Craftsman Pro.
BUT. . . . if you have sloppy pins or hinges, re-adjustmant is a waste of time. R&R pins/ hinges as req'd & save yourself some effort & grief.

I pull out the back of the fender to get to the door hinge bolts. It's MUCH easier & doesn't risk paint chips like Pete's method. Align the door to the body (so it seals and lines up with the B-pillar), then align the strike bolt (so it holds the door firmly), then align the fender to the door.
