Hi guys I'm wondering if a exhaust manifold from a 87 F.250 with the 351 would also work for my 87 f.150 (351)? The only difference is the manifolds off the f.250 have what looks to me like vacuum lines running off it. Otherwise they look about the same, could a guy plug the lines and put in on a 87 f.150? Thoughts? Anybody got manifolds for a 87 f.150 (351 Windsor) they would be willing to part with?

 

The manifold will bolt to the motor no problem, the issue is will it mate with the existing exhaust system. Was the F250 carbed or EFI? If it was carbed there would be a butterfly valve on the driver side which doesn't exist on an EFI truck and I believe the manifolds are shaped slightly different so they won't mate with an EFI Y pipe. If the 5.8 motor was EFI then there is an air injection tube across the back of the motor between the manifolds, this can be removed and the holes plugged and the manifolds will then work on the F150.
