I'm not sure if you need a short water pump. That's only if you have alignment issues.

Thanks Will. My experts and I measured it out today, and I bought a single groove water pump pulley which gave me over 2", and the belts will now line up and the pulleys won't touch(I hope!)

Ford engineering Id# D1AE-8509AA on the pulley.
I should have it early next week and I'll report back.

Ford engineering ID# D1AE-8509-AA on the pulley.

D2OZ-8509-A (replaced C9OZ-8509-C) .. Single Sheave Water Pump Pulley - 5 5/16" O.D. / Marked: C9OE-F (or C9OE-8509-F) or D1AE-AA (or D1AE-8509-AA) or D2OE-AA
