Help can't find a 48 fuel petcock!

My 1948 f6 truck has leaked a little gas since I brought it home. I always just shut the fuel off when I was done playing. I went to tighten the fuel line and found out that the PO had crossed treaded the fuel line into the brass petcock. to far to salvage. I cannot seem to find one and the young guys and NAPA cannot seem to find one either. Where can I find one?

Thanks

Chuck - you might have better luck at a outdoor power house - think boats. There sometimes are solutions at regular hardware stores, but ensuring they are fuel rated is iffy.
