48 F1 flush mount door speakers.




Hello all, new to the group and to fords in general. Just started on my 48 f1. Workin on wiring and interior right now, tooled these out today.

Looks nice...not too familiar with the F1 but on the F100s there isn't much room behind that access panel for speakers.

Thanks, there's a lil bit of room back there, but it is tight.

Pretty cool. My 52 had 6x9's stuck there. Got some uncut ones from another truck as I'm not running any system in my truck. Yours looks MUCH better than the hacked hole my truck had.

what speakers did you use that fit the depth?

Infinity 62.9i. Bought em a while back for something else and never used em.

Was just out there noodling with with the speakers, it's gonna be tight. I'd be willing to bet there's better speakers to do it with.

I bought some shallow 6x9 speakers from Greg at turnswitch.com for my 49 FI. I recall they are only 2 11/16 inches deep so they may fit in your doors. If not, he is full of good ideas. Good luck
