1993 F-150 with a Blown head Gasket.
So while life has been doing its thing last week I bought a 93 F-150 for dirt cheap in honestly the best condition I ever thought possible for 500 bucks. However, the heads gasket is blown, Its legit puking coolant straight out the rad out 1500 Rpm with the cap off and it eats water so bad that it could smoke out a 4 lane highway and then some. Now I have a 302 small block at my house that was pulled from my Blue F-150 running great. But the catch is this thing is a 5.8 I would be pulling out.
Now while I have yet to get this back to my house to tear down the 5.8 what would you all's opinion be on this? Swap the 5.0 and focus on the 5.8 later or tear down the 5.8 in the truck and see what is what? My goal is to get it driving and running good by no later than the end of next month. I want to use this as a daily until I get my blue F-150 the exact way I want it for street use.
Thanks a bunch, Shadow.
Also I just noticed the speedo on this beast is pegged at 85 plus for some reason, What in world would cause that???
