1964 M-100 Questions
New to the forums here but I figured this would be the best place to get some answers.
I have a 1964 M-100 4x4 that I picked up in the fall and the more I look at it and work on it the more questions I have.
The Serial Number tag says the wheelbase is 128 but when I measure center to center its 121. It also has 8 bolt axels and all ive seen from others is 5 bolt so I thought the drivetrain might have been swapped out but underneath everything is as if it came from the factory that way.
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

128" wheelbase (actually 128.8" referred to as 129):
1964/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD. These trucks use the same Styleside beds that were introduced in 1964.
120" wheelbase: 1961/65 F100/250 4WD & 1966 F250 4WD. These trucks use the 1957/60 Styleside (wrong) beds.
F100 2WD/4WD have 5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle. F250 2WD/4WD have 8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle.
