just so you won't get bored while you're getting pics and stuff... here's mine.. needs to be updated to include the finish work inside the hood... this has been a major part of the project... although, EVERY part has been a major part !! I've almost disabled a body man.
have fun

This one is glass. Any and all pictures will be a lot of help for sure and that way my friend can make up his mind how we are going to do his.
The biggest thing is how the best way is to cut the bottoms off so all looks neat and fits good. There are a few ways I have seen guys do it and have seen some say they should have done it another way.
Thanks for your post and I and he will look at what you guys have done.
If you want to send me pictures direct then PM me and I will give you my email.
Thanks

Check out Project-55's thread. He came up with a cool way to tilt the front end. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...0-project.html

My friend really likes this tilt setup. I have just made a post on the video and with luck maybe I will get a reply?
Once I went full screen I could see something on the bottom of the fender and that I am interested in. Not sure what the white area is located higher up unless it is a rub mark?
Going full screen then you can see something shinny at the bottom.
Do any of you know this guy? Posted by Nick Coulter 2013

My first post here. Back in 1980 my 1956 F100 had a tilt front. The fenders were cut like the one on the blue 1956 F100 in your YouTube link. However, we had also cut the inner fenders. Had a small portion bolted to the cab as original and a the large portion tilted with the front end. I had a rubber seal to close the gap at the inner fender seam when it was closed. It worked fine. A tilt front end is one solution if your hood doesn't want to fit correctly when normally installed with stock hood hinges. In the long run I removed the tilt setup, bolted everything back together and used stock hood hinges. I just prefer the original setup. There was still that non-original small bolted seam at the lower part of the front fenders. But setup this you still have the option of going back to original without needing new fenders.
By the way. Through inheritance I'll be getting my old truck back. Love the truck and have wanted another one for some time, but kind of bitter sweet.
