1956 Ford F-100 build and raffel

Hi gang.
This was forwarded to me and I purchased some tickets. Neat build of a 1956 F-100. http://www.esmschools.org/webpages/r...ase%202016.pdf

Good luck

That is awesome!

I wonder if I can just go get it and drive it back to Kentucky. When I win it, that is.

Seriously though, I think it's great they get that kind of support from the school and the community. One of my pet peeves with education, (one of many it would seem) is the apparent lack of interest in the career of anyone not going to college. This is an example of the opposite. These students are going to enter the workforce inspired, confident, and motivated. (maybe a little pun intended)

I like it.

I totally agree. If you were not intending to go to college, you were cast down upon. I will drive it back to MD should I be the lucky winner. Help spread the word. Good cause, great prize

And a bunch of sharp looking students. Obviously they have pride in their program. Still, the teacher is doing serious sentry duty at the drivers door.

Wow, what a great program...I wonder if they would consider throwing in one of the sharp green shirts with the truck? July would be a good time to fly back East and make a nice road trip back home. Check's in the mail! Thanks for the heads up Jim....

It says it has an 8' bed, my understanding is the F100 did not have an 8' foot bed, right or wrong?

I have seen a number of 56 trucks with 8 ft beds, many were F250s but some may have been F100s. Many had had modifications to the chassis so I couldn't say if they came from the factory that way.

In 1956 Ford had the option of a F100 long bed (8'). It did not have the heavier frame and suspension and larger wheels like an F250. It just had a longer wheel base, longer frame, and the 8 foot bed. So it is stock and the ad is correct.

Thanks for the info. ESM is not too far away when I'm in NY. If anyone out of state wins it, I can pick it up and drive I mean store it, until you can get it.
Sounds like that group of students and instructor have the support of the school district.

Got my tickets back in the mail the other day. Looked at the calendar, this would be perfect timing for me to attend my high school reunion.
