I haven't been very active on here due to some personal issues but most of those are behind me now and the ones that are still here we are dealing with the best we can. As you've seen in my previous posts the frame is for the most part completed. Frame is completely boxed and painted. Suspension fully assembled. Brakes are plumbed and ready to go. Radiator and fan are assembled and plumbed. Steering mocked up as well as the AC lines up to the firewall. Coil overs are installed and set to ride height the best I could. Engine and tranny installed driveline as well. Exhaust fully installed with just the rear hangers to be installed once the bed is on.
Of late have turned my attention to the cab and will post pictures of the patch work I've done on the floor as well as some of the bodywork that I've started.

Using the original patina that was on the truck was never an option. This thing had 13 coats of paint on it. My Sandblaster would not touch it. Tried aircraft stripper and it only touch the first couple of layers with multiple tries. Most of the paint was taken off with the poly will and a lot of elbow grease. Thinking about having the bed in the front clip Sandblaster professionally but again funds are scarce around here. I'm no bodywork guy but I'm learning as I go. The back of the cab was in pretty bad shape.
The filler on the cab now was just there so I can get close. I'm still going to primer it do a guide coat and block sand.
