2004 F150 FX4 - moon roof blew off !!
It appears the glass is glued to the tracks and it was getting loose. One fine (or un-fine) day with winds gusting 50 mph, my moon roof decided to take a hike. The glass sheared off the tracks. The bottom tracks still work, but will need parts for the top part. Sorry - not sure about part names. But question is, where can I find the glass piece?
I rather not have any moon roof. Wondering if I can get a piece of tempered glass or thick acrylic cut into shape and somehow just close the hole permanently....
Thoughts? Ideas?

So I found that the moonroof/sunroof I have is Webasto hollandia 700. I am not sure if this came OEM or someone installed it. I bought this truck in 2005 with only 25k miles on it. As per the dealer it was a program truck. My assumption is that it is a OEM moonroof. But when I go to drop the moonroof, I see that it is held by brackets instead of bolts that internet searches are telling me. Also, the front part is somehow glued on to the roof.
I am totally stumped right now....

My 06 had a sunroof that blew off back in 2012 or 2013...think I would remember that for some reason.
Sunroof Recall - Webasto Hollandia - SunroofCheck.com
Check and see if your roof qualifies and they should fix it for free if it qualifies.
I had gotten 3 of the cards stating I might be part of the recall and hadn't bothered since my roof was working fine, until it blew off going to work.
