What is the single aftermarket accessory you regard as essential when you RV?

We boondock most of the time, don't have solar yet so we depend on our EU2000 Honda Generator. The one thing I would tie to this is our Tri-Metric TM2025RV battery monitor. It's been replaced by the TM2030 but both do pretty much the same. It's like having a fuel gauge for your batteries.

The single thing I encourage everyone to own and use is a power management system such as Progressive or Sure Guard that constantly guards against both low and high voltage and checks for wiring faults at the pedestal. What would you advise folks to own? Just a curiosity question.

That's interesting about thief's, I worry about Yellowstone camping and all that they tell me about thief's working the area and the bears.
I am in a camping area that is half seasonal and half transit. A year ago I went to empty my portable dump tank and half way there it split and waste was released. On inspection I realized it was a old unit and that my 6 month old unit had been switched. All the campers were extremely upset and actually searched the grounds. The owners were actually very upset that this could even happen. It was the first time someone stole something other than a beer out of a cooler. I now have a newer and bigger portable waste tank and I do keep it secured to the camper. Never found out who did it but the assumption is it was a weekender because it has never shown up at the grounds and people still look and tell me.
Shook up all the camping community. Has not happened to anyone since.

I'm changing my earlier response to the second air conditioner that I just installed over the 5ers bedroom nose. After a mid 90's temp and humidity weekend we just had in the Adirondacks, it sure was nice to sleep in critter comfort
CG thefts - so far we haven't seen any in our seasonal place but there are enough transit folks that I tend to not leave anything out anyhow tho most transit folks that stay there are repeat visitors
