I guess I don't consider a spare and jack an accessory but an integral part of an RV, same as my truck. The multi meter Steve mentioned is just a tool that I always have in my hefty tool box - which reminds me that I need a new one since the Harbor Freight meter I've been using had a corroded battery failure (they were almost new, just one of those things that happen).

My wanders through Camping World have usually turned up very little that we actually need though I have purchased some replacement items on occasion

And speaking of jacks, I was looking for a suitable jack last week for lifting the trailer by the frame just behind the rear tire (per my owner's manual) far enough to make the adjustment that I was making on the suspension. I was finding that all of the bottle jacks are too short to do this standalone and came across this:

Bottle Jack Recovery Kit With 6 Ton Bottle Jack ? Safe Jack

Video

This looks like a reasonably safe alternative to using random scraps of wood for cribbing, although as we all know that can and has been done safely for many years by many people. I did not order this kit for my work over the weekend, but it is going on my wishlist.

Not really a single item but if I carry these things, I usually don't need them.

Looks like I have pretty much everything mentioned, and then some. I do need to order me a good power management system.

Having changed a bunch of tires along the interstate, my Christmas present this year was a DeWalt 1/2" Impact wrench. It comes in pretty handy!

Have you looked at the price of the 6 and 12 ton versions. PHEW!!! I thought that maybe this would be a reasonable alternative to the cribbing I normally use but $269/$279 plus shipping most likely just is not in my budget.

I also have the tubs. That way I am sure to know the things I will not need!

Plastic totes, three of these are my 'needed' things and tools. There are a couple more in the garage. Can't camp without 'em.

They along with a couple more are waiting because of this 'problem' yesterday:

Not very pretty, but does a great job when leaving a site. Without this piece you are testing fate and guessing about your outcome...

Wipe down the inside with bleach, and spray the hitch with Lysol.

After boondocking for the past month I'm going to say batteries and enough solar as not to listen to my generator or anyone else's if it can be helped. Then the path less traveled.

Hey 99, give me a shout when you are coming to make sure we're here. I got room for you to park it a couple days, and can throw you a power and a water line. Might be taking your chances on the random "stock levels" of the refreshments...

Excellent choice. I also carry mine on my service truck and sometimes use it to troubleshoot or for PDIs. Company support is excellent.

While I agree that all of the previous recommendations are helpful, I believe that more importantly y'all should be using a RV tire pressure monitoring system. Yes I have my idea of best quality but anything is better than none.

Now pour me a shot from that liqueur cabinet.
