Rear main seal leak?

Took the torque converter cover off and this is what I see. Before I took it off the cover looked oily. Prev I replaced the EGR valve and some other sensors and there was oil on top of the engine. Does this look like a rear main seal or oil dripping from the top of the engine?

With fluid on the top, it is doubtful that your issue is a rear main. A rear main leak is about the last thing I would expect to leak on the 7.3.

The drain hole cast in the rear of the block will cause any fluid on the top to drain into the transmission bell housing and drip from the inspection plate.

Those with manual trannys need to jump on these leaks ASAP before they take the clutch out.

I would do a thorough wash and scrub down top to bottom and revisit the sight in a week of driving and see where the crude ends from the bottom up.
