Hello, Hopeing someone could help. I have a 2016 f350 with a 6.7l engine installed a new stereo, well new to me and it seemed to blow the acc wire fuse behind the radio. Turns out the radio was bad, but my question is I check all fuses they seem to be good, is there a relay that controls this, and is there a fuse that is linked to this relay. I currently have 12v constant coming out of radio harness but no acc power when I turn the key to the run position.
There may be constant power to keep the clock/station memory active. That's the only thing that comes to my mind.
Pull out your manual and check for which fuse controls the accessory power. I would think that the accessory is a switched power source.
Thanks for the quick response. I already have check all the fuses and they seem fine, with a multi meter and visual, I'm just wondering if its tied to the acc delay relay any thought would be great.
