Coolant Leak In Cab

Coolant Leak In Cab
1971 F100 360 (No AC)
Steam coming from vents, antifreeze smell inside truck.....heater core leak.
Luckily no AC in the truck.
I am in the process of rebuilding the heater assembly (new heater core, damper foam, seals, etc).
While the heater core was leaking it got some behind the rubber floor on the passenger side. I am afraid if I do not dry it up, the floorpan will rust quick.
What is the best way to dry up that firewall and floor pan?
Is the rubber flooring on that side easily removed to get under it?
Thanks Guys,
Trever
