STC fitting replaced, truck runs great! Thanks TD

Well last Thursday the truck died while towing my fifth wheel. I was heading out of town to go camping with my family for the Easter weekend. Luckily I wasn't too far from home. Texted TD for advice, even though I kinda knew what my problem was. He was kind enough to come out to where I had broken down to see if he could help. (30 miles away). After some diagnosing and discussion, I had it towed to toreador diesel's home so he could work on it.

He fixed my STC fitting while I while I went ahead with my camping trip. (Had a buddy come get my trailer before the wrecker showed up and take it to the camp ground). He also replaced my stand pipes and dummy plugs as well as the egr hose. The truck runs as good as it ever has. Smooth. Quiet. Just...right. You know....what all of us 6.0 owners hope our trucks can drive like. I will now call him the 6.0 whisperer. 😀

For those of you that do not know toreador diesel, he is the kind of guy who'll help a stranger out of a jam without a second thought. He offered to help me without even thinking about it. He is a person for whom I am blessed to have met. He will probably down play what he did but offering to fix my truck so that my family and I could enjoy our camping trip was an act of generosity and selflessness that few people would have done. Words cannot accurately express my gratitude.

All I can say is Thank You Razzi for everything!

There are a lot of good people on here that do that. Great community !!!!!!!!

Rusty Axlerod drove a little over 30 miles several times to help me work on mine.

Shaneb75 spent a lot of time with me on the phone and texting.

Toreador thumbs up to you!!!!!!!

6.0 whisperer, I like it!

I have to say that for the most part it's like a large extended family here where many are more than willing to share past repairs and experience. It's saved countless numbers of posters many a headache and kept the wallet in the back pocket more than otherwise would be the case. Everyone from the master techs to the guy like myself who knows just enough to get into trouble, it's the best there is. I am humbled as well at the times I have been helped out.

TD good on you........you raise the bar for others.

It doesn't surprise me that Razzi did that for you. He been checking up on me regularly since my stent was put in along with Sean. Yes, we are a family of sorts, but I think of us as good friends that just live along way from each other, that when the call comes, we go!

Thank you all for the kind words

Tom is a great friend who's gone out of his way to help me a lot in the past; it was the least I could do to help pay his kindness forward.
