Swapping to Hydroboost-cus i can, i think
Taking the old 1990 F250 to next level. Replaced loose steering shaft, clutch, clutch lever n' bushings. Axles get gears (4.56) tomorrow(hp 60 front, Detroit in the rear Sterling, all new bearings, ball joints, tie rods, draglink, hubs on the rear. 4" Lift from Skyjacker. 40" Micky Thompsons...
So I have ordered a new master cylinder from Ford Vintage and I am looking for a hydroboost that will match up. The MC I ordered is Motocraft PN# BRMC.40.
I am doing the hydroboost swap because I am switching to discs in the rear. The disc conversion needs more pressure, thus the hydroboost. So what Im after is the correct hydroboost that others may have used or info into this swap. Powersteering pump recommendations? I dunno, just kinda wingin' it.
