90 F-250 7.5L

The bellows section of my fresh air intake tube is in bad shape and I haven't been able to find a replacement (haven't tried wrecking yards)? Anyone have a source for this item or for the bellows section? Thanks.

That is a junk yard piece. The 4.9L and 7.5L equipped trucks got that fancy and very effective behind the grille fresh air intake. The 5L and 5.8L trucks got the goose neck version that pulls air from between the hood and radiator support.

Ford no longer makes either version and yours is highly sought after. I have a goose neck version in my garage from my last 5.8L truck.

My last trip to the U-Pull-It yard yielded two of these. One was in good shape but was missing the bracket for the radiator support. The other was falling apart but had the bracket. Got both to make one good unit.
I thought that they were only on the 7.5L (460) equipped trucks. I'll have to look at the 4.9L (300) trucks next time out.

 

I got one for my truck off eBay for $35.. I couldn't find one local. Besides, $35 beats driving around.

 

I have had very good luck finding these types of parts on ebay or other web sales by simply typing the part number into Google. Anybody got the part number on this, or to the OP is it legible?
