Borgeson Power Steering Pump Upgrade Kits

Has anyone here switched out the stock power steering pump on their 360 or 390 FE engine to a Borgeson (Saginaw) system? Here's Summit's description of this FE kit: Borgeson Power Steering Pump Upgrade Kits 800336 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

Did it fit and work well? Did the brackets handle both having and not having an A/C bracket? These two brackets share one of the studs attached to the cylinder head so the quarter inch thickness of the A/C bracket can make a difference in fitment.

Just an FYI.. CVF Racing also offers Saginaw to FE brackets. Get the pulley system while you're at it.

And if using a Saginaw pump, what you get it spec'ed for will matter due to the pressure valve calibration. I sourced a canned ham pump from a '76 GMC 4x4.

Beautiful stuff but a bit beyond my reach for this project. OTOH, I have discovered that my new SFI approved harmonic balancer uses the Chev three bolt pattern which is slightly different from the Ford three bolt pattern. I also want to keep three groves against a future A/C system.
I will need to correspond with them and see what they say. Thanks for the tip.

I can't tell you about the bracket but I really like the Saginaw pump I put on my 79 with a 400. Maybe the best upgrade I've done to the old girl.

I am using a borgeson hi flow with my cummins swap no noise and no issues. That includes the hydro boost and a saginaw box in the system. FYI I use the royal purple power steering fluid with it.
