is it possible to get 300hp from a 292?

just wondering if this is possible?

I'm actually building a blown 292 at the moment, bored +.060", ECZ-G posted heads, edelbrock 573 triple intake, will be running three 97 stroms modified for blow through setup, i want rams horns headers if i can find them.

hopefully i can make it all work somehow haha

So yes.....I would say you CAN get 300hp out of a Y-block!

300hp is easy and you don't need any really special parts to do it.

If it is blown, and you don't exceed 300hp, then you did something wrong
The factory f codes were rated at 300hp, but actually put out around 370 on the dyno. They were 312s, but that's still no problem for a 292.

haha i thought it was easy for the 292... maybe in my sleep deprived state last night i couldn't think straight!
