Ok, I know the answer may seem obvious, but I'm looking to hear from anyone else who has had this problem.

I have a 2000 f250 in great shape. Put a brand new 2012 bed on it. Now I want to put oem style fender flares. I talked to EGR and they said they stopped making flares after 2010 body. But they thought the flares that fit the 2000, which also fit up to 2010, "might" fit the 2012, but they were unsure. Well, they dont. I ordered them, now have to return them.

The obvious answer is to buy two sets, fronts and rears for the two different years on the truck. But I am concerned that buying two different years might end up with different coverage, fit and look.

Some manufacturers also don't make past 2010. So couldn't buy 2 different year sets if I wanted to.

Any one have this problem and solve it? What brand did you use?

 

Excursion conversions experience the opposite. I believe they skip the quarter and end up using the flares to get the match. Check for 5HUB's thread in the Excursion section.

 

You could put 2012 fenders on your truck to match the new bed and not worry about flares at all....
