1996 Ford F-250 Showcase and Transformation

Hi I'm a new member to this forum. I thought I could show you guys what I'm running and get your opinions!

I've got a 1996 Ford F-250 that has had a pretty huge transformation.

Here is a pic of it when I first got it

We have done alot to it since then... Here is a pic of it now

Things we have done to it were (in order): 4 Inch lift kit, dual steering stabilizer 35 inch tires with fuel rims, aftermarket headlights, we made a custom grille, put on bushwacker fender flares, hollowed out catalytic converter, custom exhaust with glasspack and 3inch tip, made a custom bumper with lights, swapped out my old ttb axle with a straight dana 60, made a custom roll bar/backrack (it isn't in this picture it'll be in the next one.)and alot of stereo stuff.

Here's a picture of the roll bar

Things I'm going to be doing next is (in no particular order): Headers with with dual straight pipes, rolling cam, custom rear bumper, custom tailgate (maybe), nurf bars under the door to protect form rocks, round lights on roll bar, air lockers, I have to do a front diff overhaul (bad bearings), more engine mods, paint, dual or triple shocks, and much much more.

I probably forgot a lot of stuff but you guys got the idea.

I'd love to hear what you guys think and would like any recommendations!

Looking pretty good! I'm not the biggest fan of the grille or headlights, but that's more personal preference than anything.

What a transformation! All the custom pieces really make the truck stand out so kudos on the fab skills. What do you have under the hood?

Do you think those bolts on the rollbar will withstand a rollover? They look kind of flimsy to me. Same goes for that bracket holding the spare tire! LOL!

Love the custom metal pieces.. the bumper, light bar and the custom grill.. though I feel the bumper could use some more mass.. it's just a little too thin looking for the truck. Great job on the grill and I love the roll bar.. it has that beefy look that the bumper is missing IMO. Wheels and tires look great. Not a fan of the giant-stack-o-leaf-spring suspension that doesn't move, yes it's easy to get lift with it but it just doesn't belong on a prerunner.. if that is the look you're going for. And unfortunately I hate those projector headlights.. they're all wrong for this vintage truck IMO, I think an all clear or smoked traditional set would look better. But overall I think you did a great job, the truck is definitely a head turner now, so thumbs up.

Truck looks tough. Did it need 4" lift to fit 35's? Almost looks like you could drop it 2" and still fit them without problems.

I wish my 96 supercab had the straight front axle instead of the damn TTB.

Anyway...love it, looks great!

Thank you! The leaf spring suspension is all I can afford right now as a sophomore lol. The bumper does have 1 3/4" solid steel so it's secretly beefy
