mystery hose and bottle

There’s a hose that goes from the passenger side valve cover to the intake on my 460. Pretty sure it’s the PCV.

Well, it has a ‘T’ in it with a long piece of vacuum line going to a plastic bottle next to the battery. Clearly it’s not stock, but what the heck is it? There was a few ounces of a pinkish, odorless liquid in the bottle when I bought the van… any ideas what's going on?

That sounds like an oil catch can but if its catching coolant instead that would suggest it's getting into the crank case somehow. First check to see what color the coolant is in the rad, if it's bright green then so much for the above theory but if it's that pinkish stuff then...
