tires psi/cold am/ and max psi ?
hi yall if inflate tires to max psi (35 on side wall) like some say to do in AM before driven say 75 amb. temp. out then seems to me when amb. temp. rises to say 95 tires would be 2# overinflated since they loose or gain aprox. 1# air for every 10 degrees in amb. temp. change what yall think ?

You should check your pressure with the tire cold and set it to the pressure the mfg recommends. It may be different for the front tires vs the back tires. The mfg knows that the pressure goes up when the tire gets hot.
If you air it up to the max to start with then when the tires heat up you will be driving with over inflated tires which can't be good.
Special cases such as racing and pulling might warrent a different tire pressure, but for all around daily driving use the mfg specs.

Third paragraph says to always check tires when they are cold. If you don't have an air compressor at home then that might be hard to do, especially if you live a long way from the gas station.
How about this. Say you are supposed to have 32# in all tires. You check the pressure in the morning at home and see that one tire has 28# ( 4# low) You go to the station and check again (using your own gauge) and now it says 30#. Add the 4 # you were off to the current 30# and you get 34#. Fill it to 34# and that should be pretty close. Check it the next morning and see if it's not the recommended 32#
Obviously if you were home and the tire read 36# you could just let 4# out.
