62 f100 master cylinder leak... need help!!
Master cylinder was leaking into the floor board when I pressed the brake pedal. So I bought a rebuilt one and replaced it. I filled it up and press the pedal. It sprays brake fluid all over the floor board. I'm at a loss don't know much about these older trucks just getting into it.

I did not bench bleed. I decided to take it apart and check the rebuild. The seal around the plunger seamed to hard to me. I think right now best bet would be to rebuild this one myself. This way won't have anybody to blame but myself. Thanks for the reply. Will let you know how it turns out.

There is a forum in here to change from a single reservoir to a dual reservoir. I did it and it is easy. All you need to do is go to Autozone and replace it with a different year from a Mustang. Two different drum brake master cylinders: With or without power brakes.
With same 1967/70 Mustang/Cougar, without same 1968/70 Mustang, 1969/71 Galaxie/LTD.
I got the info from NumbersDummy. I was going to post a picture of mine, but I can't get it to load.

It's a nutroll Caz, all the hard lines really truly need replaced, rubber hoses, return springs, 4 wheel cylinders, 4 sets shoes... probably all 4 drums as well. That means pressing new drums and studs on the old front hubs, might as well install new inner and outer wheel bearings too, grease seals, spindle nuts and dust caps.
Heck, just pop the radiator up and drive a new truck underneath. Save lots of trouble!
