So, I was repairing the tailgate on my 96 B2300. One of the dojobbies that pulls the latch when the handle was lifted broke.

To get to those parts, I removed the 8 or so torx screws and the long metal panel that covers the tailgate guts.

The screws were in a toolbox, which was stolen from the back of the truck.

Does anyone know the size/thread of those screws? I'm about to go buy various screws that might be a match...but if someone knows, or has a parts diagram that gets that details, I'd love to know.

Call your local salvage yard to see if they have a Ranger tailgate you could have the screws from. Most yards in my area don't charge for trim screws or fittings, they like for us to carry them off so they don't get stepped on or driven over!!!! lol
