1997 F-250 parking brake pedal

Where O Where can I fiond a new or almost new parking brake controller for my 1997 F-250? It is discontinued from Ford. I've been looking for a month or more.

Not exactly; Mine is rounder in shape and it mounts on the side more. Also the brake cable comes in on the bottom and should come with the assembly.

That pic is just a representation, not sure what it actually fits(just got it off of Google images). I'm just asking if that is what you were needing.

Yes, typically the Ford truck version has the cable out the bottom as it comes up through the floorboard.

The cable doesn't come with the pedal, and they changed from '91 to '92. You need one from a '92 to '97. New ones come with the ratchet mechanism locked back by a pin to make connecting the cable easier. It's a bear to do it otherwise, but can be done.
Just because it's discontinued doesn't mean some dealer somewhere doesn't have one in stock. Get the part number and google it...
