Ford Driver Seat Community

Just received an email to join this group. Anyone here have experience with them? The email states:
As a member of The Driver’s Seat Community, you will…

Be part of an exclusive community of Ford owners who are interested in automotive experiences.
Be invited to participate in a range of research activities once or twice per month (this could include surveys, discussion forums or online focus groups).
These activities typically take less than ten (10) minutes to complete.
Be encouraged to converse online with other community members and Ford about these topics.

I once belonged to one of these groups for Harley Davidson. I got out because it seemed like questions and surveys were showing up in my email about every other day.
As far as I'm concerned, I already "converse online with other community members and Ford about these topics".

Wow, I can't be the only Ford owner on this forum that received this invite can I?
I haven't replied to it yet. Haven't taken the time to look into it to see if it's for real or a phishing scam.

At first glance, it appears to be an official Ford-sponsored customer feedback survey. Looks like the company Morpace is contracted by Ford to run this thing.

Go to the FAQ sheet at the bottom of the page and scroll to the end, their contact info is FoMoCo Customer Service.

I did scroll through it enough to see that Morpace is out of Farmington Hills, MI but that's as far as I've gotten.

When I was at Ford we often used Morpace for customer feedback. I went to a few of their sessions where they had customers come in and give their opinions. They gave out free stuff to those that participated. Nothing huge, but something nice. I forget exactly what it was, maybe restaurant gift cards.

Morpace is legit, it's up to you if you want to participate.

Thanks Mark. I more than likely will participate. Just wanted to be sure of what I was clicking on/signing up for.

whn I'd purchased my 2011 F150 with teh 5.4, I was contacted by morepace for a study relating on how the vehicle is driven & what adjustments the computer made: $300 when it was installed, an additional $300 when it was removed a year later..was told it was to assist in modifying the motors in the future

Ford Drivers Seat

I was contacted last week. I took their short survey and was joined to the group. According to the owners of my local Ford dealer and new brothers in law; this is a good group and they like to get consumer information about the vehicles and about the operation of dealerships. So I am going to stay with it awhile and see what comes of it.

In case anyone else was wondering or gets the same invitation that I did, here is the response that I got when I inquired directly with Ford:
Hello Todd,
My name is Jamie, I am from Ford`s Customer Relationship Center (CRC). I have reviewed your email inquiring about Morpace Inc.
Thank you for your patience while we escalated your inquiry to a department within Ford Motor Company (FMC).
I was able to verify that Morpace Inc. is a legitimate company that is currently working with FMC.
Thank you for contacting Ford Motor Company.
Sincerely,
Jamie

From what I've seen so far after joining, there's a one topic forum. It remains to be seen whether I'll be contacted for anything else in the future.
