I am in dire need of a belt idler pulley. The one on my Ranger does not allow me to replace just the wheel. I have to replace the entire assembly. This pulley is for the belt that is on the alternator belt on the left side. Does anybody know where I can get one or a suitable replacement. Or is mine able to be rebuilt if I grind the original wheel off. Ford does not have one nor do the after market placed.

1991 with a 2.3 L engine

 

Have you searched Rockauto? They are one of this sites vendors and show several idlers depending on if the vehicle has a/c and power steering.
