Options are to go back with what you have or upgrade to a 2015 charger. I would go with a 2015. Lots of vendors on the web have kits with everything you need to do the swap. Runs around $2300-2500 I believe. A factory replacement for the 11-14 trucks is in around $17-1900 I think. There are a bunch of used ones for sale on various places on the web for $4-600. If given the chance, I would upgrade to a '15 turbo in a heartbeat. It will run with factory tuning. It runs best with custom tuning.

Before you go buying a new turbo, you're might want to check and see if you have a split boot or had one blow loose...

I second this, check all boots/pipes ect first or just spend money

If you want The 15 turbo and fuel pump, then give Morgan a call at midwest diesel. He was the first one to do the swap. I will be getting this set up soon, still saving my pennies.

OP, few months back we lost a turbo on a 12 dually with less miles than yours. Gave up at the top of a hill.
We swapped to a 15 Ford setup. Runs great. Truck is used only to haul cars.
Good luck.

I recently had this happen to me on my 2011 turbo. I heard the turbo give up the ghost, lost boost and then it sounded like a ambulance. I limped back to my shop and parked it.

I had been looking at turbos for awhile as I had 140,000 miles and figured my number was coming up. I went ahead and upgraded to the 2015 turbo from Morgan at Midwest diesel. And man alive this turbo flies, I would highly recommend their StreetmaxR turbo for guys looking for a upgrade but staying with a oem setup.

I ended up buying the turbo from Mike at nolimitdiesel, this was Wednesday after noon, Thursday morning I started removing part to get to the turbo. Thursday afternoon the turbo showed up and by 11pm I had the new turbo in. It was a fun project and no really too difficult. I wasn't expecting the turbo to show up till Friday so I was pleased!
