Howdy All,

My 2010 SCREW has the type of fuel input that does have the traditional "gas cap" but rather only has the hinged door over the fuel input opening.

This past weekend something happened resulting in the fuel "door" no longer springing shut and holding closed. The round door now hangs open about 1/2". I know this will cause issues with the fuel input basically open.

Question: what's the fix for this?

I want to understand this before I take it somewhere or - do it myself - ?

Well, he lists a "fix" but doesn't state the problem. I just replied to the thread. Hopefully this will help me.

Is your issue the external fuel door, or the flap that you push out of the way with the nozzle? If the latter you need a new capless assembly, and it looks like they can be had for around $40.

Yes, the issue is the round external door itself.
