Your cat is a bad *** for sure. That green tractor brings back some miserable memories. My dad was quite enamored with green tractors with flywheels hanging off the side. Learned to drive on a 330.

I'll check that green highboy for d shafts too.

Got the dipstick tube reinstalled in the oil pan, hopefully getting some time this weekend to get the oil pan installed then I'll fire her back up and make sure all my leaks are gone... well minus the major bendix steering assist leak that probably isn't going away any time soon. Finding Driveshafts and Rust repair are still on the schedule thru this winter

I would clean them with Superior Aluminum Brightener from Oreilly's. A gallon cost $11 and your wheels will literally look brand new. Just follow the directions.

Thanks and I cannot wait! Already started pricing tires but with winter approaching they wont go on before spring I suspect. Still got Work to get done just couldnt let these pass! I decided a while ago those were the rims I wanted but kept my hopes from getting up, didnt think Id find any close by or for a reasonable price.

Thanks again! I was telling Ed I hope to make it out to the swap meet sometime; sounds like a fun weekend! (Well for me anyway, the wife would be bored...) maybe send her on a girls weekend with her sisters and I will bring a few buddies down!

Hmm I’ll look into that thanks! This is my first time with aluminum wheels so I will be researching the best way to clean and care for them.

My local oreillys didn't carry that stuff but Napa did. Picked up a gallon and was quite impressed with it. I'm going to need to put some elbow grease in to make these look perfect but for just spraying with the acid and then hose, stuff worked great!

Edit* I had them in nice before/after comparisons but for someone reason the mobile app doesn't upload them in the order I choose

It's some awesome stuff, ain't it. I used it when I worked for a trucking company in high school. Made those big wheels and fuel cells look real good.

Well didn't see this being an issue I've seen so many Highboys running these rims... did they make them in different offsets? Also What's the best way to measure for rim size? I thought they were 16.5s but they seem to match up with my current 16s

I think the rim to steering knuckle issue is because you have a D44 closed knuckle, low pinion, Bendex steering set up axle. Primarily because a closed knuckle axle is different than a open knuckle axle. I am pretty much guessing at this point.

Like I said over the phone, I will work it get them back and give you a full refund.

Rim to rim they can match the 16", but 16" tires will NOT fit for sure. Outside edge to outside edge measurement will be off, because 16.5 have a extra bead of some sort.
