Widow maker wheel rework for our '62 P350 (RH5^ 17" with 6 on 7-1/4" pattern)
We used Custom and Commercial Wheel down in Bloomington CA. Ray was very easy to work with. He cut out the centers of our old wheel and welded them into new 17" drop center tubeless rims then powder coated them flat black. It ran $203 per wheel plus shipping and turnaround was less than a week.
We end up using 235/80r17LT tires that are about 1-1/2" smaller in diameter than 7.50-17 that were on it. I thought it was interesting that the Nexen tires we used have RH5 on the sidewall.
It seems like the best solution to the oddball bolt pattern since I was not interested in swapping axles.
